Branden Windle

BRANDEN WINDLE


Branden Windle, at 6-ft. 1-inches and 178 pounds, played Quarterback at Aquinas High School. His accomplishments include lettering two-years on the Aquinas Varsity Football team. Windle was a 1st team All-Christian league in 2006, after making the 2nd team in 2005. In addition, he was the starting Quarterback on the 2005 CIF Championship Aquinas team, and a 2nd Team All-CIF selection. The Aquinas High School team achieved a 22-5 record under the leadership of Windle during his two years as the starting quarterback, during which time he totaled a 10-to-3 touchdown to interception ratio.

An exceptional student, Branden carries a 3.8 grade point average. Windle was recognized for several academic honors, including: 1) Recognition on the Aquinas Honor Roll every semester while at Aquinas, 2) Being an NHS & CSF Honor Roll recipient every semester (2003-2007); 3) School Salutatorian, while being ranked second in his class, and 5) Scoring a 1850 on the news standardized SAT exam.

In addition to his accomplishments on the playing field and on the playing field Branden was the Treasurer for the Associated Student Body his Senior Year at Aquinas. His community service activities include spending over 100 hours contributing activities in the area.

Head Coach Josh Henderson characterized Branden in the following statement, “Branden Windle is an All-American kid. He’s the kind of kid you know you can trust. He earned the starting QB spot as a Jr. and navigated our offense to 21 victories in two seasons. Brandon played extremely well under pressure. He’s a winner.”

Branden will be attending Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA where he will study Economics. Branden is the son of Robert and Laura Windle of Redlands.
